H2E Studio User Manual

1. Installation & Requirements

Software Installation

H2E Studio is designed as a portable application (approx. 20MB). After downloading the zip file, extract it to any folder (e.g., D:\H2E_Studio\), and simply double-click H2E_Studio.exe to run.

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 (1809+) or Windows 11. (*Windows 7 is not supported)
  • Runtime Dependency: Must have WebView2 Runtime installed.

Note: Win10/11 systems usually have WebView2 built-in. If the software fails to start, please download and install it from the official Microsoft website.

2. Quickstart (Hello World)

Generate your first EXE program in just 2 steps:

Configure Basic Info

In [Basic Params] -> Entry Settings, select WEB URL, then enter a URL like https://www.google.com.

One-Click Build

Click the Build Button (the last green right arrow icon) in the top toolbar. Wait for about 6-9 seconds, and the build result window will appear upon completion.

3. Advanced Scenarios

Scenario A: How to pack local Web files?

  1. In [Basic Params] -> Entry Settings, select WEB File.
  2. Click the yellow folder icon button next to it to select your index.html file, or directly drag and drop the index.html file from Windows Explorer into this form field.
  3. Click the [Build] button to start packing.

Scenario B: Vue / React SPA Projects

If your project is a SPA (Single Page Application), please ensure the Router Mode is set to Hash Mode before packing, or correctly configure the entry file path in the packing settings.

4. Licensing & Activation

The EXE generated by the free version includes a watermark and splash screen ads. Purchasing a license removes all restrictions.

Activation Steps (Automatic)

  1. After successful payment on the website, check your email inbox for a License Key.
  2. Open H2E Studio, and click the 【License Center】 menu at the top.
  3. Paste your License Key into the input box and click the [Activate] button.
  4. Once activated, all pro features will be unlocked instantly.

5. FAQ & Troubleshooting

Q: "WebView2 Loader failed" error on startup? ▼

This indicates your system is missing the required Microsoft runtime. Please visit the official Microsoft website to download and install the "WebView2 Runtime Evergreen Standalone Installer".

Q: My Anti-Virus reports a false positive? ▼

This can sometimes happen due to the protective "shell" mechanism used to secure the EXE. The core is digitally signed. We recommend submitting your generated software to AV vendors for whitelisting, or advising users to add it to their exclusions list.
